Art Afternoon with the Maldon Art Club

Do you paint or draw or would love to but wondering if you can?     Perhaps you haven’t done any for ages and want to pick up a pencil or brush and are wondering where to start?

Do you stare at a blank sheet of paper or canvas and hope for inspiration!

Maybe you are an experienced artist who would just enjoy spending time with likeminded others? It can be quite isolating working on your own and it’s so helpful to share ideas and talk about art.

Why not come along to the Octagon at St. Mary’s, nestled between Church Street and St Mary’s Lane it’s a great meeting place and offers a lovely bright space with tables, chairs and an outside area too.

There’s always a few of our friendly members there to welcome you. We share our experience and advice on materials, help with colour mixing and there’s lots of inspiration too. It’s just a nice way to spend an afternoon. Just bring along a sketchbook, pen or pencil, paints or whatever you’re working on currently. We are all mixed abilities but share a love of art. What are you waiting for? 😀

Our regular meetings are on Tuesday evenings but for those who would prefer a daytime session then come along and try it for yourself.

Every third Thursday 2pm to 4.30pm

Non members £5

Tea and coffee included,.
