October 2025 Newsletter
Hello everyone and welcome to our new members.
The September programme was inspirational, and many blue works of art were created. It is a good way to try new things, join in an activity and get to know other club members.
If there is anything you would like us to include in the programme let me, Sue or Jean know. We will be doing the programme for next year in December, any ideas welcome.
In September the Maldon Art Trail restarted in the town, it was very successful and a few of our members were involved. It was a good opportunity to showcase the club and show people what we are doing. The event was well received in the town, next year it will be bigger and better.
Don’t forget The Art Club Exhibition October 30th,31st and 1st Nov drop off weds 29th Oct. All the forms and details have been sent out and are available on the Website. Please submit your form by the 14th of October
October Programme of events
In October we are going geometric! At the start of the evening there will be a brief introduction and some examples shown.
7th Picture division. Divide your chosen picture into 6 triangles and complete each triangle in a different manner – realism, abstract, doodle etc.
14th Use coloured geometric shapes in a variety of sizes to make up different compositions.
21st Geometric still life.
28th (Half term, we will be in the Quaker Hall, Butt Lane) collate ideas and finish of work from previous weeks.
